We are monitoring a situation affecting internet traffic into Ireland from the United Kingdom that might affect European customers' experience using CRM online. Two undersea cables have reportedly been damaged resulting in increased congestion and slowness for all internet traffic in that region. As Ireland is the location of one of our EMEA data centers for CRM Online, customers might be experiencing increased latency accessing their CRM online instance. We have taken steps to mitigate the performance impact on our customers and are prepared to take further measures if the situation worsens. We will update this blog posting as we receive information from the organization that owns and maintains these undersea cables.
