To display the calendar in the workplace after Polaris upgrade you need to follow the following steps.
1) Click on option under file menu.
2) In that select workplace tab and under workplace check Tools option as shown below, after that click Ok.
3) Once you saved it you will able to see tools group with calendar in Workplace area as shown below.
