Post Incident Report (PIR) | NAM |CRM Online | Some North American Orgs are currently inaccessible

Summary

Several CRM Online orgs served from North American datacenters were inaccessible for a short period of time. The issue was proactively identified through internal monitoring and quickly resolved by Microsoft Service Engineering.  

Customer Impact

Impacted customers could not access their CRM Online organizations.

6 February 2013 8:20 AM PST

 

Date and Time Service was Restored

6 February 2013 9:30 AM PST

 

Root Cause

The investigation determined that a SQL Server ran out of memory and stopped serving requests.  The cause of the out of memory condition is being investigated.
