In Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2015 we have the ability to create custom entities, but they come standard with a generic image identifier making it more difficult to identify that custom entity when coming back to it down the road. Now we have the ability to add an image to that custom entity making it much easier to identify it over the default image.
- First you need to create your custom entity.
- Create a new field with the field type of “Image”
- Within the custom entity definition, set the Primary Image field the new custom image field you created
- The last step is to open the form properties of the form you want to add the image to, and on the Display tab, check the Show image in the form check box.
- Be sure to save and publish!!
